The ultimate cool cotton body sheet with 60% cotton content flag cloth weave that is designed to allow good airflow while still offering protection from the dirt, dust, sun, bugs and flies. This fabric is a super lightweight fabric at 200gsm so it must be treated with care. Despite its lightweight nature it is suprisingly hardy and handles most Itchy horse situations exceptionally well but not 'barb wire' fencing!

For horse owners that do not like the Combo style especially during the heat of summer, this is your best option. Turn your horse out with a good quality face mask, a cotton slinky and matching tail bag and your horse will keep clean. They will not be annoyed by bugs and flies, most importantly they will be cool and protected from the Sun! A body rug will not stop the mane and tail from bleaching in the sun a Hood, Combo style or Slinky with a matching tail bag is recommended to avoid this. NB: We are releasing separate hoods and neck rugs to match our body rugs in our next shipment.

Do not machine wash. Hand soak and rinse in warm water using a Wool wash to help protect the special natural cotton features of the fabric. HINT put some Citronella oil, Eucalyptus, Neem or other favourite insect repelling oil into your fabric rinse to help repel insects.

NB: When you measure from the centre of the chest to the point of the hip go up to the next size and it will fit perfect unless your horse is very thin.
